Research and development to support test development, maintenance, and implementation (such as standard-setting calibration, test evaluation, assessor training and certification), as well as information, and advocacy workshops and papers (such as fact sheets for IEHPs and language proficiency policy papers).

Consulting services would be offered by OCECCA on a project basis. These services would be provided by qualified and experienced OCECCA resources and billed hourly. Staff would be contracted on a project basis to provide professional services. Services may be provided across Ontario.

Examples of consulting services include:

 

  • Professional services: standard-setting for defensible cut scores, assessor certification, and advisory and advocacy services;
  • Test development services: test item analysis, review and writing, test item banking, and new test versions; and
  • Evaluation services: test validation studies.
